The glass cord features a wave-patterned gradient. It’s dyed with a gradient pattern based on the traditional Kyoto dyeing technique of “Kasuri dyeing.” The subtle color changes within a single cord are difficult to replicate with machines, and are the result of the skilled experience and intuition of artisans. The original braided cord is produced in Fukui Prefecture, and uses polyester yarn that feels pleasant against the skin.
