SG1175 / WETFORMING BELT EYEWEAR CASE
DESCRIPTION
An eyewear case that can be attached to a belt. The wet-forming technique involves fitting wetted leather into a wooden mold and applying pressure for several days to create a three-dimensional shape, and it is said to be difficult to achieve a large three-dimensional effect. The high level of skill of skilled craftsmen has enabled the creation of a deep gusset, and the case is designed to be just firm enough to protect the eyewear stored inside. There is a belt loop on the back of the case, so it can be attached to a pants belt or shoulder bag strap.
